Are Hunter Chases a bit of a mystery for you?
Do you follow one of the horse racing tips rating services and you're dissatisfied?
For the last 25 years I have been making a healthy profit every year on Hunter Chase Horse Races. I don't back horses on the flat or over jumps in the usual races, I only back horses in Hunter Chase races. Hunter Chase is a very specialised area of Horse Racing where not many pundits understand the form, as it generally refers to point to point horse racing form, which they don't follow.
Well, I do! Every Weekend I'm at point to point meetings, watching and listening to the many jockeys, trainers and owners that I know personally. I don't always follow their advice but I take it into account when making my horse racing selections.
Over the years I always averaged about 50% wins, which is a lot more than anyone else betting on Hunter Chase horse races. I win well, as I up the stakes when I'm in form and downgrade them if I'm on a losing run.
This year, many of the Hunter Chase races have been reframed so that professional horse training yards, who seemed to farm the Hunter Chase races, have been excluded, so point to point horse racing form will be even more important than usual.
Hunter Chase races are effectively non-handicap horse races so, unlike a normal handicap horse race, a horse that would normally carry 2 stone more than other horses will usually only have to give it 7lb at most. Therefore the best horse tends to win. Of course you have to know the point to point form to know which the best horse is.
My racing tip selections are different from all others because, in most races, there will be only 2 or 3 horses that I believe can win the race and I may well advise backing all of them, and I'll tell you how to do it. Now, whichever horses win their races, you will still show a profit.
Of course we will have our losers as well as winners as horses are not machines but, on balance through the season, you win too, and will show a substantial profit.
